terms & conditions
our terms and conditions are simply set out below in order to help our customers understand how Whimsical operates. these terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights; however, by placing an order with Whimsical, this does confirm you agree with them.
the following sections are laid out below; ordering & payment, postage & packaging, order cancellation, refunds & exchanges, product availability & information and lastly, the disclaimer.
ordering & payment
1.1 all of our prices are in UK Sterling
1.2 deliveries are currently only to addresses within the United Kingdom
1.3 Whimsical will send an email confirmation of your order to you within 24 hours of receiving it
1.4 all online payments are made through the secure online payment system of Paypal
1.5 you do not need a personal Paypal account to pay via Paypal, just a debit or credit card

postage & packaging
2.1 all items are complimentary gift wrapped in tissue paper and finished with ribbon
2.2 standard delivery costs £4.50
2.3 your order will be dispatched within five working days of being placed and/or once your payment has cleared
2.4 all orders are sent via recorded delivery and so will require a signature upon receipt
2.5 orders are not dispatched on weekends or public holidays
2.6 Whimsical will not be held liable for any delay, loss or damaged goods in transit, so please inspect the parcel on receipt of delivery
2.7 Whimsical feels strongly about the environment and as such we recycle wherever possible. therefore most of the postage packaging used will be recycled from other deliveries. please can we ask you to dispose of your waste carefully and recycle as much as possible - thank you!
order cancellation
3.1 should you decide to cancel your order with us then you may do so within seven days of placing the order
3.2 the cancellation must be in writing. an email sent to contact@whimsicalcards.co.uk will be acceptable
refunds & exchanges
4.1 if for any reason you are unhappy with your goods then Whimsical will be happy to refund or exchange the item, providing the following requirements are met:
4.1.1 we must be informed of the refund or exchange by email, giving the reason
4.1.2 we must receive the item within 7 days, starting from the day after your goods were received
4.1.3 the item must be in an unused, unopened original condition
4.1.4 the returns form on the back of the delivery note must be filled in and returned with the goods
4.2 all return items are to be sent to:
Whimsical, Returns, 77 High Street, Crowthorne, Berkshire, RG45 7AD
4.3 please obtain a proof of postage from the post office
4.4 we will not be held liable for any loss or damaged goods whilst in transit back to Whimsical
4.5 all refunds will be made using the same method of payment as used in the original purchase
product availability and information
5.1 if a product is temporarily out of stock, then you will be informed (via email) as soon as possible and either a replacement or a cancellation will take place, if you decide not to wait
5.2 every effort is made to ensure all products are correctly represented and/or shown to be in stock, however errors can occur...oopsie! if this is so, then you will be informed as soon as possible and the problem will be remedied
5.3 all measurements are approximate

6.1 if you wish to 'unsubscribe' to our mailing list at anytime then please send an email to contact@whimsicalcards.co.uk with 'UNSUBSCRIBE' in the subject heading
